| Description |
Our San Francisco office is seeking a Tunneling Engineer for the California High Speed Rail Project between Fresno and Palmdale and to support our infrastructure and rail activities in the region. Arup is part of a joint venture for the environmental and preliminary engineering for this 63 mile segment of the project.
- Business development
- Preparation of bids and proposals, subject to the approval of the relevant levels of authority
- Manage medium or large tunnel design projects including deliverables, budget and schedule
- Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines
- Attend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues with them
- Manage development and work of other staff
- Responsible for one or more areas of technology and day to day financial management |
