Our Seattle office is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a proven track record of delivering large and complex building electrical systems designs. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers and assist with various aspects of the project and be responsible for:
• Acting as client liaison for the electrical team while undertaking electrical systems design, predominantly for building projects
• Designing power distribution systems, lighting, fire alarm and other electrical systems
• Communicating with clients in meetings and by other means to establish their needs and discuss design issues with them
• Leading multiple projects at once while successfully balancing the requirements of each
• Financial accountability for the project electrical team
• Preparing and reviewing drawings detailing the design while monitoring quality of work
• Substantial contributions to technical and other reports
• Coordinating work with Architects and Engineers of other disciplines
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a sound knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals as they relate to building systems
• 8 -10 Years of relevant experience in electrical design to US codes and standards.
• Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
• Strong management skills and excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment.
