We are currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure Drafter. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • 2D Drafting and 3D Modeling for large infrastructure projects with a focus on Civil and/or Structural discipline • Coordinate drafting and modeling between various disciplines and other external consultant teams • Manage and lead drafting on various projects, document control, transmittals, archives etc. • Work under minimal supervision Requirements Qualified professionals will have: • A degree in engineering or CAD • A minimum 5 years of MicroStation (preferred) and/or AutoCAD experience • Experience working on large infrastructure projects in Civil and/or Structural disciplines • Sound knowledge of engineering principles for various disciplines • Knowledge of other disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing preferred • 3D experience preferred • CAD Systems Administration experience preferred Qualities: • Produce deliverables to a very high standard and take pride in own work • Good communication skills essential for team-based working • Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment • Must be highly motivated, confident, proactive and willing to take on new challenges • Must be able to investigate and seek out improved work methods • Able to work under pressure and adhere to and manage strict deadlines This position is located in our SoHo, New York office.
