Our Toronto office is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support our infrastructure and buildings projects. The hired candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers, job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Infrastructure design which includes transportation, bridge, and tunnel structures. • Building structures design. • Prepare structural drawings. • Structural calculations, analyses and modeling using structural software. • Report writing. • Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines. • Project and team coordination duties. • Attend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues with them. Requirements Requirements: • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with a sound knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals • 6 to 10 years of experience. • Experience in the design of buildings and infrastructure structures • PEng/PE/SE license desirable Qualities: • Good communication skills essential for team-based working • Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment • Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges • Project coordination and management experience is a plus • High level of proficiency in Structural analyses and modeling is a definite plus Apply On-line Apply On-line Send to a Friend Send This Job to a Friend
